Football, football, football!

Yes, I have lots more pictures of our recent trip but I have been busy watching my grandsons play ball.  Zane did have a baseball game too but I did not get any good pictures of it.  So, you get to see football.

Zane is still playing flag football this year.  He desperately wants to play tackle and I think he will make a great tackle.  He is not fast but boy can he block and is very strong.10-05-14 Zane ball 0410-05-14 Zane ball 12This is his friend, Aidan, on the right, number 5. 10-05-14 Zane ball 1810-05-14 Zane ball 21There were cheerleaders across the field and Zane decided they needed them on our side too. He was doing the dance.  When someone asked where his tutu was he laughingly said he had left it at home.  Quick wit.10-05-14 Zane ball 2310-05-14 Zane ball 24Back to business.10-05-14 Zane ball 2610-05-14 Zane ball 34

Zachary has been ill for the last week with a back strain from last week’s game and then a throat infection (tonsillitis or mono – still not sure).  Anyway we were not sure he was going to be able to play but he will probably show up for whatever if he is feeling lousy.  But after antibiotics he was MUCH better.  Zachary plays end, receiver, backup quarterback, and kicker.  Many jobs.

DSC_0003Oh, got a picture of Zane too!DSC_0007#82.  There were two #82s.  He is the one with the pink Breast Cancer Awareness socks and bright blue shoes.DSC_0009Here he had just caught a pass and was heading to the goal line.DSC_0018DSC_0020Just did not quite get there. DSC_0021DSC_0022DSC_0023This was an onside kick.  He got the distance great but we just did not use it well.  I thought he just did not kick it far.  Glad I was wrong.  DSC_0041DSC_0042Another kickoff.DSC_0047DSC_0053This one was much better. Thanks for looking. I really love watching these boys play!
