Lake Livingston State Park–Livingston, TX

Yesterday afternoon we decided to stay at Lake Livingston State Park.  This lake is north of Houston and borders the Sam Houston National Forest.  It is also another large lake.  If we lived down here it would be a necessity to own a boat!  This park is huge and has lots of camping sites.  We opted to pay a bit more and got the full hookups.

I have really not taken too many pictures here.  We took a short stroll last night and today we had to run to town to get propane in one tank.  When we got back we worked on some maintenance issues and at lunch.  I have been hard at it using the wifi that is GREAT at our site while we have it.

I am hoping to get more pictures tonight but no promises.  We leave tomorrow to get us closer to Austin we think.  We had planned on going to Corpus Christi but have about decided to get back closer to home and cooler weather.  I like cooler but probably Ross will want to get back to warmer once he gets home.  Oh well.  Thanks for looking.
