Hunting those Easter eggs – the celebration of rebirth

So how long does your Easter egg  hunt last?  Of course it depends on how many children there are, but I can bet it is a quickly finished task.  We had five children hunting.  Let me tell you that hunt was FAST!  But so much fun.  This year I put little pieces of paper in some plastic eggs that matched little dollar prizes.  That was really neat but next year – I may rethink those prizes!  The kids loved that part too.

Zachary guarding the door so the others can’t get out.  He opted to hide eggs this year instead of hunting.  See, there is that growing up thing going on.04-08-12 Easter hunt 01 Faces at the door.
