Talk about a tear jerker! When the little ones graduate to kindergarten! Well, it was really a fun night, then the slide show started. With music. With the music “Let Them Be Little”. Watching those little ones through the school year and listening to this – tears were flowing!
I don’t think Drew was quite so happy to be here. But Zane loved it.
Singing and using the gestures. So cute.
Zane’s teacher – Mrs. Amanda and Mrs. Brenda
Escaping. I think he was ready for cookies and punch.
Always a ham.
Dad had slipped out but I got a good picture of the rest of the family.
Congratulations. Onward and upward. He is so ready and excited to start at “real” school.

Preschool Graduation – Zane
Zane’s end of school party
The preschool went to a local place to just run and have fun. Cheer Elite has tumbling mats, trampolines, and so much more. Zane’s favorite place was the foam pit. I know this pit is for learning how to do flips and such, but the kids just enjoyed jumping in it. I don’t think Zane was ever far away from it.
Always a line. There were lots of kids.
The best part…
Jumping in the pit.
Then the kids had pizza and cookies.

Fourth Grade school productions
Every year each grade has a musical. Sometimes Zachary has a speaking part, sometimes not. This year he had a pretty good part! And he had to be a pioneer man. The play was all about the settling of the west. Very nice history here. Anyway, they found a coonskin hat for him to wear and we had a leather vest with fringe. I thought he looked pretty cool. Of course I would!
These shadows you see are are heads in front of me. They really could have moved for me!
Wonderful!
Two days after the play Zachary had another opportunity to shine. The fourth graders had a Wax Museum. Each student was a famous person in Texas history. They had people I had never heard of and some that we all have heard of. Zachary was George H. Bush (you know, Daddy Bush). The students had to memorize a short biography and speak it like those figures do in some museums. “Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. My name is ---. I was born --- “ etc. Very very good. They had four classrooms filled with personalities. We were very very impressed. Wish I had videoed part of it.
Presenting George H. Bush…
Very serious for the speech…
Ma Ferguson (aka Jacklyn Vaughn)
Charles Goodnight (aka Austin Torres)
H. Ross Perot (aka Braden Pohlmeier)
They are growing up way too fast!

Moon and flowers
I have spent some time photographing the moon and flowers around here.
The moon was full and one afternoon it really looked cool above some houses.

And finally into the evening…
And despite all our dry weather spring came in with some really beautiful flowers.
Some from my neighbor’s yard.
And more of mine.
I just love spring and the flowers!
