The preschool class took a road trip to a small farm today. It kind of tied into Wild West this week since the letter of the week was “W”! There were horses for the kids to ride, a couple of goats, a buggy ride, a dog, and some cats trying to stay out of little hands. It was so much fun to watch these kids run and whoop and holler and just enjoy the freedom. I got lots of good pictures of the kids riding the horses.
Racing to find the fun. And his friends.
It started a little cool but the kids did not even notice. And warmed up fast.
The destination – horses.

The goats.
The buggy.
Our youngest rider. I think he is two.![]()
And when all of the kids had ridden at least once, they let the ones who wanted to ride again and help lead. That was almost as fun as riding.
Then one of the owners got some grain for the children to entice the goats out of their shed.![]()

Hyacinths are gorgeous.
Their dog.
Through the barn to the horses.
This horse was part quarter horse and part appaloosa.
Try to get these kids for a class picture. Ha!!
