I wish I could type this the way Zane says it. - “sherweeeeeet!” He says it for a lot of things. So we were eating at IHOP today and Ross had this crepe with Nutella. I have never had Nutella. Dang, it was good! And sweet! And rich! So of course Ross loved it. But as we sat there my thoughts turned to the word prompt from Our Space for today – sweet. So I took a picture with my phone. Oh yes, it was covered with strawberries and whip cream and other fruits but I did not think of the picture until it was nearly gone!

Time
Today’s prompt from Our Space.
My very first thought was “time in a bottle” – probably because I just got through copying that album by Jim Croce onto a CD. Yep, that probably nudged me over the edge. So I had to find a bottle. And take off my watch.
Really pushing my brain!

Cold
So I started following a group on Facebook that are doing daily photos with a theme. This group is Our Space. Today is cold. I am learning a lot about our views. Interesting takes on these themes.
Cold. The sky this morning to me was cold! Got even colder but here we go…
Tomorrow is time. Hmmmmm. Gotta think on this one. And I hope I can keep up this one picture thing. Like my scrapbooking, I have to really try to work on one picture at a time.

Back to the sky pictures
I have not had my camera out too much lately. I think because I have been sick. Cough, cough, sniff, sniff. Ruins your get up and go. Tonight I decided to go outside and look around. I know I have missed some full moon pictures but I think there may be one or two more sometime. Today I should have taken basketball pictures but am glad I did not. That gym was really dark! And really, how many basketball pictures of Zachary do you really need to see.
I digress! Here are some cloudy sky pictures.
I really need to get back to my camera.

Spelling Bee Champion
Today Zachary won the Spelling Bee for his school. Next week he moves up to Regional or something (bad Nana!). Next Thursday he will compete against older students. He is a 4th grader. We are SO proud of him. Kathleen made a poster and took off early from work to be a school to greet him as he walked out! It was so cool.
Yep, I think he liked it! Besides, he made it last and told them he thought he earned a dinner out. You go, kid!
Playing with pictures taken in RAW
This is a first for me. I decided to take pictures of the basketball game in jpg and in RAW. My pictures are not the best – I need a different lens I think. Next time I will try taking them with my 50m even though there is no zoom and not auto focus. I understand it is FAST! I will just have to crop.
Anyway, here is what playing with RAW gets me. Some I fixed and some I used actions by Pioneer Woman – Ree Drummond.
Before and after. Some are cropped but most are not.

Tap dancing on – cans!
Ross saves cans. Beer cans, Coke cans, all cans. And every once in awhile he gets the boys, one or both, to help him crush them to put in a big box. Then when he gets enough he hauls them to the recycler. On this day Zane discovered that the cans can stick to his feet and he becomes a tap dancer!

Hey, it keeps him busy and happy!

Sunrise - Sunset
On the same day. The morning was fiery!
While the sunset was soft and ethereal.

Someone needs to move the houses so I get a better view. Humph!
