Today was rodeo day at Zane’s preschool. My goodness was it a BUSY day. There were several activities planned and each group spent a little time at each station. Each group had about six children in it. And thank goodness for all the parents there helping each of the kids through these tasks.
The first station our group was at was getting into cowboy clothes – fast. I know they had a name for it but I cannot for the life of me remember what! Should not surprise any of us. And let me apologize for some of the quality of pictures. It is VERY hard to get good pictures of kids in motion and in a gym it is really hard!
A campfire. So cute. The children “roasted” marshmallows and made S’mores.
Another race – feed the cows. The kids had to dip their cup into the bucket and fill with corn then RUN to the end and dump it in the “feed trough”. What a mess but so much fun for the kids. Watermelon tasting. After trying watermelon they had to rate whether they liked it or did not like it and draw a picture of their face showing that. Then the kids decorated a bandana. Some were very artistic and some (Zane) just scribbled and left it. However, they were very proud of their work. Then everyone went out to eat lunch and end the morning. Thanks, Mom, for taking the morning off to help! I hope you stayed with me through all these pictures. I will try to break up posts like this from now on.
