What, another blog post!?

It’s been a busy week!  At least in terms of photo ops!

Garage hockey.  I have told you about garage hockey.  Some kind of object for a puck (today it was a tennis ball – dangerous!).  The puck they had was somewhere in the construction stuff.  At least that is the theory.  All three boys really have fun.  The big one delights in whacking the “puck”.  But then, so do the little ones.05-20-10 garage hockey 16 05-20-10 garage hockey 0505-20-10 garage hockey 07 05-20-10 garage hockey 09 05-20-10 garage hockey 12 05-20-10 garage hockey 15 I actually captured a decent picture of the moon.  But it was daylight so did not have to mess with the settings too much.  Really cool!05-20-10 moon 1 05-20-10 moon 2

We took Zane home with us.  Zachary was leaving early Friday morning for a church choir trip and it was far easier to let Zane spend the night than for me to be at their house at 6:30 in the morning!  He loved it of course.

I let him play in the yard running through a  sprinkler.  Pure joy! 05-20-10 Zane in sprinkler 0405-20-10 Zane in sprinkler 05 05-20-10 Zane in sprinkler 06 05-20-10 Zane in sprinkler 07 05-20-10 Zane in sprinkler 0905-20-10 Zane in sprinkler 11 05-20-10 Zane in sprinkler 13 05-20-10 Zane in sprinkler 14And Zane and Ross had a good time too!  Playing on the couch.

Gene Howe Drug Free Walk

Every year Zachary’s school has a Drug Free Walk where the kids all pledge to be drug free and learn drug free songs.  Usually they walk to the high school across a very busy road.  This year there were not any officers available to help get them across so they walked around the school.  I usually do not attend this because one of Zachary’s parents will attend.  However, they could not so Zachary asked if I would go walk with him.  What else do you say but yes!

At the end of the walk there was a guest speaker.  A couple of officers from the sheriff’s office.  And a very special guest – the drug dog!  He was  so pretty and put on quite a show for our kids.
