Horses and birds

We have had lots and lots of the “cattle” egrets in the field behind us and to the east section where lots of head of cattle graze.  They will swoop up in great clouds then fly away for a bit.  I have tried to capture them in flight but and always a day late and a dollar short, as the saying goes.  I could see some following the horses in the field and went back to take a few pictures, hoping they would fly up.

But they slowly took off one by one. I got this one in flight. And soon there were only a couple. Need to try this again and get them in flight!
