We have peaches this year. Lots of peaches. Not big, some really ugly but more peaches than we have seen in any other year. They were starting to fall to the ground and the birds are loving them. OK, so let’s pick them.
We got Zachary up on the ladder to shake and pull. I think next year the tree will be history. We have babied it along and I think the bores are winning. Zane was busy dodging the peaches falling off the tree and making sure “this is a good one”. My farm hands hard at work. Then the fun was pealing and freezing them. Yes, I put a lot away. No, we are not picking any more. The birds are going to be well fed.
