Let’s go sledding!

WARNING!  LOTS of pictures.  And a video at the end!

Now I know that you people who live in the frozen north and in the mountains have it all figured out when it comes to sledding. Here it is a treat!

And we grab what we have and run for the closest hill.  Well, hill being an overpass somewhere that does not have us ducking for cover every time a vehicle comes by.  But you know, everyone has so much fun.

We bought some little funky sleds a few weeks before Christmas anticipating going to the mountains skiing and giving the boys a little extra fun.  The fun on sleds has all been at home!  And with this last storm we are so glad we bought those when we did.  There are none to be found in Amarillo right now.  All bought up.  But everyone was very good taking turns using the sleds and the one BIG cookie sheet I have.

Yep, just pure Texas fun!

Well, I must say I have never seen anyone sledding using a cookie sheet...but then again we dont usually get snow to try that out! If we get a lot of snow again this year, I'll definitely try it myself!
