Closing my store at Scrapdebris

I have decided that I need to close my scrapbooking store at Scrapdebris.  I am simply not doing it justice and really have not designed a new kit in some time. If you have seen something there that you want – remember for just $1 – please purchase in the next week.  As of next Sunday those items will be taken down.  Thanks to all who have purchased or picked up my freebies.  Thank you, Lisa, for giving me the opportunity to sell my designs.  Here are a few that I have in the store there.  There are lots more so go see!

I am sitting here now watching the clouds roll in for a change of weather. 

 

We had a BEAUTIFUL and happy Thanksgiving.  Lots of family.  Great food.  And tradition.  Zachary and I always pull the wishbone from the turkey.  I think next year I may have to buy two turkeys so Zane and I can pull.  It’s only fair! 

 

I have brought firewood up to the storage area in the back of the garage.  So ready for a nice fire.  I hope the predictions of snow happen.  So ready for it.  Please, don’t send me those bad comments!  Later.

Just felt the need to share

I have taken so many pictures this week I just felt the need to share!

The sunset one evening was gorgeous.  My daughter called and said “Have you seen the sky?”. Well, that was enough to send me out the door.  Beautiful.

 

Some views of the area between Amarillo and Fritch.  I plan on going that way again and stopping more often!

 

A few more.  This is a 1956 F100.  It was once sitting at an old airplane museum rotting away.  A company here took the plane and restored it.  Sunday morning it was being moved to a midway point and from there it will be moved to a spot at our veteran memorial hopefully soon.  It passed by very close to my house so of course I had to go catch a few pictures.

Thanksgiving is next week!

Do you have big Thanksgiving plans?  We do.  Well, sort of.  Family gathering.  This year we will really be big!  Let’s see – Ross and I (2), Kathleen and family (4), Cynthia and family (4), Molly and family (3), Deedie & Bruce (2), Teresa and family (4), Alan and family (3).  Wow!  I miscalculated.  I had 19 in my mind but that is 22.  We are going to have it at Kathleen’s house since she has that nice new BIG kitchen.  It will be so much fun.  I love big gatherings.

Life has been pretty hectic.  Zachary had three soccer games in a tournament last weekend and three basketball games.  Kept us busy but that was good.  Then this week he had his school program, Thanksgiving lunch that they could ask guests, and his turkey run (a race to win a turkey).  All good.  Oh, plus his report card – all A’s from 94 to 98.  He was disappointed with a 98 in math as he really wants 100. Hope he does not give himself ulcers.

Think I will go read for a bit.  Or listen to a book.  I am hooked on James Patterson’s Women’s Murder Club series right now.  I was told they were good.  Yep, hunting down the audio books!  “Read” 5, 6, 7 last week and just got 2.  How many were there?  Hmmmm.  Back to downloading to my iPhone.  Night all.
