Just popping in to update
I don't really have many new photos. Can you believe it? But in about a month I will have the boys for five days. Kathleen and Mike are going to Las Vegas for a friend's wedding. Oh, and I will have them three days of the week before for Spring Break. Forgot about that. Better find some stuff to do!
Kathleen and Mike had a bid on moving their kitchen to the back of the house - an addition. Then where the kitchen is now they will make it the laundry room and storage. When they do, we will tear out their cabinets and use them in our house. Boy do we need them. Hope it works out for them. Otherwise we may be buying new cabinets.
The wind has been blowing so hard here the last few days. It blew the kids swing set over a their house and it is one of those big wood ones. Broke it so they have to fix it now before the boys can play on it. And still no moisture. We are supposed to be in the 60s and 70s this week. No winter in sight for us.
And now for my scrapping friends - a couple of free kits...
I have two for you tonight. One is a Valentine mini kit. I know Valentine's is over but you may have some photos that need to be scrapped. And the other is a winter theme. Some of you are surely having winter even if we are not! Sorry, the links are gone. Winter to Spring is available at Scrapdebris for $1. Sweet Valentine is not available at this time. Thanks!

OK, I have really been a bad blogger…
I just have not had much to say I guess. We are all doing pretty well here after our ski trip. You know, back to the same old, same old. We did finally get some rain Sunday night. Along with thunder and lightening – in February! I heard one of the weather men say that when it thundered in February then one month later there would be snow. Well, mark March 8 on the calendar and see if it does. Totally possible in the Texas Panhandle.
While we are on the subject of weather, let’s discuss Ground Hog Day, February 2. We mentioned this on Facebook and I just want to comment here. The ground hog comes out Feb. 2 in order to predict if there will be six more weeks of winter. Well hello duh! It is the first of February. Of course there will be six more weeks of winter. Even if he does not see his shadow. Even though our winter has not been near as hard as I thought it would be. You know the old almanac story about lots of wooly worms mean a harsh winter. Nope. That one does not seem to be true either.
I am sure I have new pictures to share but not that many. Oh, we did have Zane’s BD at Chuck E Cheese. Just the family went. I think this weekend we are doing cake and ice cream and presents. Too much has been going on for all the families to get together. So hopefully. Here are a few photos. Oh, and I took cookies to his Mothers Day Out to celebrate too.
Hard to believe he is 3. He had his 3 year check up the day after and is really doing just fine. And yes, potty trained!! LOL I need some pictures of Zachary. He is just not here too much. In and out picking up Zane is about it or coming in or going to school.

Here is what you are waiting for right? LOL I have to tell you the inspiration for this kit came from a nursery rhyme book. I was looking through it to read to Zane and found “The Frog Prince”. The swirls and graphics were really pretty so I started making a green kit. Wellllllllll, it was just too green so I incorporated some tan and blue. Thanks to Jenn for the use of her frog hidden in the grass on some of the papers (not the tag – that was in Photoshop) and to Lisa for use of some overlays. You will see more of the overlays in other kits. They are really great. Cannot wait to use them more often. Link is here or click on the picture. Oh, I have called it Forest Floor.
