Starting the long trek home

When you get to Glacier National Park you are a LONG way from Texas.  So we start the trip home, via Mt. Rushmore.  But that is for another blog.  This is the next leg of the trip.  It takes forever to drive across Montana.  But again, it is a diverse state.  So many different terrains.  We found a camping spot in the Lewis and Clark National Forest.  This is the campground near Neihart, MT.  Beautiful, quiet area.  roughing it a bit - vault toilets and the only water is at the drive in site.  But we did not have a problem with that. Very nice here.

The river the boys fished in.  Nope, no bites.

Fishing from the bridge.

And in the area, fishing and walking.

And retrieving the "fish" that we finally lost in the river.  Oh, can't forget the beautiful rocks.

Other fishermen, without the fish.  I think I can hear a big fish tale.

And of course, a fire.

More firewood.

Now for the marshmallows and s'mores.

And good-bye to this forest.  On to adventures that were a bit - uh, rough.  Back with it later.
