Christmas Aftermath

Yes, it was a wonderful Christmas.  I just love the awe in children's eyes and the happy smiling faces full of gratitude for this time of year.  We all need to stop and think of the real meaning of Christmas.  The kids need that wonder but when they are old enough we really need to make sure they know why they receive gifts.  Zachary knows but I think it is time for more reinforcement.  It is very hard in these times of so much commercialism.  Yada yada.  We all say that but it just continues and seems to get even more hectic.  OK, off my soapbox.

I have a couple of videos I just have to share.  We had family at the house Christmas Day and after lunch of enchiladas and all the trimmings (yes, a different Christmas dinner for us) we got out the Wii and Rock Band.  It was SO MUCH FUN with all these different "musicians".  I laughed so hard.  There are lots of photos on Webshots too.  The second video is really three short videos hooked together so kind of choppy but Zane is so cute singing.  He loves to sing.  Kathleen watched the first one last night and said she was laughing so hard she thought she was going to keep Zane from going to sleep.  By the way, no I am not in the video.  I am the photographer!

Here is the second kind of choppy one:

All in all it really was a wonderful Christmas.  Everyone was happy and healthy for the most part.  Please go visit Webshots to see lots of photos of Christmas.

And for my scrapbooking friends - A Freebie

I have a small after Christmas freebie.  It has some Christmas stuff I was designing last year but just was not sure what to do with.  Then I came up with the idea of needing a kit for the aftermath of Christmas so I have some messy elements and paper.  Not a big kit but if you like it you can get it HERE or click on the preview.
